Gallery of Mites is the perfect example of a supergroup.  Featuring a ten-man roster, with no less than five lead guitarists (including members from Monster Magnet, Lord Sterling, Halfway To Gone, and more), this is THE band to see this season.

Bugs on the Bluefish is a full-out assault.  Guitars are everywhere, the drums are continuously solid, and harmonica is added regularly for extra appeal.  "Suicide Punchline" is a particularly good track; it's an explosive, guitar-heavy bundle of Stooges-influenced rawk.  "A Man Called Shit," meanwhile, is spaced out intergalactic axe mayhem that you won't believe.  This is why they have five guitarists.

The rest of the album is similarly wicked, and Bugs on the Bluefish will make a fine purchase for fans of heavy metal, doom rock, and stoner rock.  If ya like it hard, yer gonna dig Gallery of Mites.
