Life Theoretic

"When the Truth Comes Out" CD

self-released

Genre: metal, alternative, emotional metal

May 2007

life theoretic sounds like dredg, tool, the deftones and the rest of that ilk of emotional alternative metal bands. their songs are bland and, though loud, don't really make much of an impression. also the vocals are too low in the mix. these guys certainly have talent, know how to play their instruments well, and can write songs properly. but their genre is overplayed and doesn't offer much room for creativity. this stuff sounds like it would be played on edge fm, but considering the direction music is going in these days, it's somewhat irrelevant at this point.
