The Sewing Circle

"The Slumber Party Spectacular" CDR

Self-released

Genres: found sound

Jan 31 - Feb 6 2005

The Slumber Party Spectacular appears to be the work of two cousins, Chase & Preston, dating back to when they were just wee little lads.  It's cute, perhaps, but the combination of silly skits and failed attempts at pop songs loses meaning without the sentimental value that comes with knowing these kids.  Fortunately it's only fourteen minutes long.  If you're into found-sound-style social eavesdropping, perhaps The Sewing Circle's little EP may interest you.  Otherwise, this will just seem like a pointless exercise in no-context cuteness.
