A Division is the debut album from New York band Swinger Eight Projects and it follows the release of their EP.  This is a concept album all about the end of a relationship, and it isn't particularly good.  Once you get over the corny cover art, you'll realize that the songs are really angsty and irritating.  They frequently drag and never really stick in your mind.

Every once in awhile the band clues into a decent melody or pop hook.  Opener "Bride" could be good but ends up too repetitive, and "Sing of her Eyes" hits some of the right notes.  However, that isn't the case most of the time.  "Dace Til Dawn," for example, is a total drag, and "Daddy's Home" is simply irritating.

This album will make you unhappy.  Not just because of the depressing subject matter, but because it's plain annoying to listen to.  Beware.
